Radiography of the Chest (chest X-ray)

The radiological image of the chest provides the first clue to whether a tumour is present or not. If confirmed, it gives information of its size and its relation and position to the surrounding organs. Furthermore, a chest x-ray  provides an indication as to whether there are accompanying diseases present which interfere with normal lung function.
