Psycho-Oncology Care Services
Medical diagnostic and therapy go hand in hand with the emotional support of our patients and their relatives provided by Haus LebensWert on the Köln campus. A highly experienced and open-minded team of psychotherapists, ergo-therapists, music therapists and social workers assist patients to adapt to their new life situation and to help those affected by cancer to cope with emerging fears and anxiety. The psychosocial, artistic and spiritual services offered, combined with medical care are all part of an holistic and comprehensive treatment concept.
Department of Psychosomatic and Psychotherapy, University Hospital Köln:
Consultant-based specialised psycho-oncological and psychotherapeutic management of patients with a psychological condition in conjunction with a cancer diagnosis
Therapeutic offers:
1. Ambulatory examination and advice, psychotherapeutic crisis intervention and therapy placement
2. Oncological therapy management of inpatients through a consultancy referral system.
3. Psychosomatic and psychotherapeutic management
Consultations by appointment.
